We spent today at the Tikal Ruins in Guatamala. Awesome doesn't begin to describe it! Everything at Tikal is massive. And when you think about when the city was built and rebuilt (600 BC-900 AD), you can't help but wonder how they did it? We've got alot of other pictures but once again, slow internet makes uploading pictures a major pain so these will have to do for now.
Temple IV
Popsi at the Palace Complex
The Travelers with Temple I in the background
Temple II
Climbing the steps to the top of Temple IV
Popsi standing at the base of a very, very big tree
There were monkeys everywhere

Oh my gosh ... I'm so very jealous!!! I believe you when you say "words can't describe ..."! It looks amazing and I'm sure you two have got some great stories to go along with the pictures! Two questions ... (1) When you were climbing the stairs to the top of Temple IV, were there additional stairs beyond what is showing? (It looks like you're still not at the top.) (2) How in the world did Pops get up that high at the Palace Complex???
On another subject ... Those beads are lookin' right long!!! I'm thinking that you two could almost stand in for Santa (right in time for Christmas!)
I lllooovvvee you both and am counting down the days now!!!! Be safe as God continues to watch over you and bless you on your adventure!
